Leadership Team

Built On A Foundation Of Customer Satisfaction

The W.J. O’Neil Company is customer-driven. Every aspect of our business — from our people to our service department to our fabricating shop — is designed with one goal: to exceed the expectations of our clients. It was a guiding principle when John O’Neil founded WJO over 27 years ago, and that commitment is even stronger today.

Leadership requires a vision of the future, and the ability to collaborate as a team to serve our clients. At WJO, we have both. Our commitment to customer satisfaction is unconditional. Our past clients will testify to it, our current clients experience it daily, and we look forward to the privilege of delivering that service to new clients in the future.

John O’Neil

John O’Neil is the prototype of a modern leader: part visionary, part entrepreneur, and 100% hard work. He founded WJO in 1983 by providing the highest quality service to his clients. He guided the growth of the company by hiring the right people and acquiring companies that met the high standards he set. Today, as President, John sets the course of growth for the company by providing strategic direction and sound decision-making.

With a wealth of experience to share, John has served on key industry boards and committees over the years. He is a leader in building strong alliances between groups to ensure that the integrity of the industry is maintained. He is known for his strength in establishing industry goals and his fair but tough negotiating stances on difficult issues.

John M. O’Neil

As Vice President and Director of Business Development, John is deeply involved in the company’s major projects. With 20 years of experience in the Mechanical Contracting industry, he is the leader of the executive team that identifies opportunities for new business and new market developments. John is an adroit team builder. In addition to overseeing all projects, he provides strategic direction to the Estimators and Project Managers, who are key to the success of WJO.
