Project Overview

Towering 270 feet above Detroit’s Corktown district, the Ford MCS restoration project is rich with history and once again destined for greatness.  This formerly vibrant and active gateway to the rails, Michigan Central Station proudly served as a passenger hub from opening day in 1914 to the day it closed in 1988.  Slated to open December of 2022, this nearly 500,000 square-foot, newly renovated structure will once again radiate with its original architectural detail along with a variety of Ford offices, independent businesses, retail shops and other anticipated offerings.

The W.J. O’Neil Company has been tasked with installing domestic water piping, sanitary plumbing, storm pipe and natural gas service throughout the entire building.
