History

Established in 1983, W.J. O’Neil was founded on the belief that every one of our customers deserves outstanding quality and service. Because of these convictions, much of our new business is referrals from our satisfied clients. We design our projects to conserve energy, and strengthen the economies of the communities where we work and live.

From front office managers to field employees, safety is always first. We were one of the first in the industry to establish an effective Safety Program to prevent potential hazards from occurring at the work environment.

We conduct regular training seminars, safety meetings, toolbox talks, site inspections, and pre-task planning. Safety issues include: fire prevention, excavations, welding and burning, industrial hygiene, occupational health, motorized vehicles and mechanized equipment.

Our Safety Protection Program and the Accident Prevention Program exceed MIOSHA requirements and are mandatory for WJ O’Neil employees. This up-to-date training makes our staff and personnel as knowledgeable as possible about some of the potential hazards that can occur within the job site.

LEED Certification

Our highly skilled LEED Accredited Professionals know all the latest green building practices and LEED requirements and processes. LEED certification provides third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that mater most.

GreenStar Designation

W.J. O’Neil was one of the first 30 contractors in the country to be honored with GreenStar designation awarded by the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) for meeting stringent guidelines for environmental responsibility.
